DIRECTOR'S CHAIR

Write → Make → Post · skip anytime

Two budgets, not one lump. Writing is the bible (cheap drafts). Making is Seedance clips (the spend). We quote both before you burn — soft ceiling ~675 cr for a mid band epic (board + 3×5s Seedance keepers).

01 · Write
Script → characters → storyboard
Writing · board budget~48 cr
  • Storyboard drafts × 824 cr
  • Style lock × 18 cr
  • Character portraits × 216 cr

Draft the bible cheap. Spend once on style + faces. Upscale/clean plates with Thelma before any video — soft stills stay soft in motion.

Stay on Z-Image for throwaway boards; only promote keepers to Seedream / grade.

02 · Make
Workbench → One Take → Canvas
Making · render budget~627 cr
  • 3 × 5s Seedance chapters627 cr

Recommend Seedance 2.0 for takes you keep. Use Mini to prove the chapter, then upgrade heroes. Never Wan on mannequin→photoreal.

Draft path: Seedance Mini (~101 cr / 5s) · Keeper path: Seedance 2.0 (~209 cr / 5s)
